The Terra Vita East Meets West Dinner is an event held annually in our Great Room to showcase local chefs in North Carolina that are creating tasty and sustainable food. This event is just one of several that Terra Vita puts on in the area during their food & drink festival. They also host after parties, tasting events and chef demos that feature top chefs showing guests how to create sustainable foods at home. We especially loved the burlap table cloths and florals from local farms which created a beautiful tablescape for guests and matched the theme of the event. Check out their website for more information!
Shelley & Michael were such a sweet couple. The two of them couldn't stop smiling at each other throughout the entire day. The green arbor that started as their ceremony alter later became the perfect backdrop for their sweetheart table. We especially loved their interactive guest book where guests took polaroid pictures and then left the couple a message. Congratulations Shelley & Michael!
Alecia & Paul were such an awesome couple to work with. They decided on a combination of golds, pinks & sequins which created a really great contrast with our brick interior. We especially loved their textured linen on their sweetheart table that was surrounded by candlelight. Best wishes Alecia & Paul!
Curling willow filled with tea lights and lanterns surrounded by greenery and candlelight created a lovely Fall atmosphere for this September couple. Christina envisioned a classic wedding look with hints of glitter to add some sparkle to their special day. We especially loved their succulent place card table that doubled as favors for their guests. Congratulations Christina & Jason!
Kristina & Cole met at UNC where they would eventually decide was the perfect place for their wedding. Cole moved out to California right after graduation, but after a few years of doing long distance, the two made it official and were engaged while on a trip to London. We loved all of the details that came together to make this wedding so beautiful. The hanging floral wall in particular that Kristina selected as a backdrop for their sweetheart table was extra special. What really made this wedding unique though was Cole and the Clefhangers singing a song to Kristina on the dance floor. We were so happy to be a part of your special day - congratulations Kristina & Cole!
This combination UNC/Duke couple came to a compromise for their wedding day. With touches of Carolina & Duke blues throughout the space, whether it was with their napkins, uplighting or bridal parties, they made sure that both had their fair share of team spirit incorporated into their special day. While we're partial to the Carolina colors, we loved Kimberly & Doug's details. Congratulations to the two of you!
The tasting we hosted in April for all of our current and potential clients was an event that we really enjoyed putting together. This was our first quarterly tasting that we hosted to showcase our food, the space and highlight a few of our favorite vendors. So many people come together to create each clients' individual tastes and vision and we love that we were able to showcase that with different decor set-ups and place settings. Thank you to all of our incredible vendors and clients that helped make our first quarterly tasting such a success!
Yasemine & David met at UNC their Freshman year of college and decided to commemorate that detail by selecting a Chapel Hill venue and we couldn't have been more thrilled. This December wedding had an incredible vendor team help create a romantic and memorable day. We especially loved their lantern lined isle that later transitioned into the centerpieces for each table. Congratulations Yas & David!
